Carmelo Anthony Trains with Real Madrid

The All-Star showed off his soccer skills with one of the top teams in the world.

New York Knicks All-Star Carmelo Anthony spent Tuesday afternoon training with the Real Madrid soccer team at UCLA showing off his dribbling skills, headers, and goal scoring strikes.

Real Madrid is one of the top teams in the world having won a record 32 La Liga titles, 19 Copas del Rey, 9 Supercopas, a record ten UEFA Champions League titles and three Intercontinental Cups.

Anthony said that he is a Madridista and his favorite player is “of course” Cristiano Ronaldo.

“I’ve been trying to get to Madrid to see a match for a couple of years because I want to experience the atmosphere in the Bernabéu and their fans,” Anthony told the club’s official website. “I’m really excited and I want to take my son, who is also a football fan.”

The soccer club is playing in the International Champions Cup in America during the next two weeks as part of its preseason training.
